Getting around Zaton
Bus 15 runs from Dubrovnik Pile via Gruž to Zaton every 40 minutes, $2, taking 25 minutes. Any bus heading north on the D8 will drop you above the village on the highway — a 5-minute walk down. From the airport, shuttle to Pile then the 15, or taxi $55. Parking in the village is free but tight; a small pay lot on the D8 above the village charges $3 an hour. Walking to Dubrovnik is not realistic — 9km on the highway.
